WhatsTap Chrome Extension

• Google Chrome Extension to open a mobile number anywhere on the web in WhatsApp Web. The user has to highlight the number, right click and select "Open number in WhatsApp". Chrome will open a tab with the number in WhatsApp.

* The extension works with all formats of mobile numbers, eg: 1234567890, +911234567890, +91 1234567890, 91 1234567890, +91 12345 67890, +91-12345-67890 etc. * If there is no country code in the number, +91 will be used by default. This can be changed by replacing the countryCode variable in contents.js.

Installation

• Open chrome://extensions
• Switch on Developer mode
• Click on Load unpacked and then select the Extension folder
