• CMR now recognizes Granule Data Format as a facet usable by Earthdata Search, and humanizes granule data format names in this facet.
• A new ACL has been created to support email subscriptions. This ACL will support future work which will allow users to request notifications when a collection of interest is updated.

Bugfixes and Maintenance

• Two variables with the same shortname can no longer be associated to the same collection. Variables associated to a collection must have different shortnames.
• If a variable is already associated to a collection, and a user attempts to associate it to a second collection, the second association will now fail. Variables can only be associated to a single collection.
• If a user tries to associate a variable owned by a different provider to their collection, the association will now fail.
• Fixed an issue where CMR-STAC was returning 502 for POST and GET requests.
• Improved the error messages returned on the HorizontalDataResolutions field during UMM-C validation.
