"INSTALL"
1. Unzip Mxd2Qgs.zip anywhere on the Windows system.
2. Run PyXML-0.8.4.win32-py2.6.exe/PyXML-0.8.4.win32-py2.7(for new versions) to install xml.dom.ext python library.
3. Open ArcMap 10. Under Geoprocessing menu click ArcToolbox.
4. Right click ArcToolbox to Add Toolbox.
5. Navigate to Mxd2Qgs folder and select Z_ArcMap to Qgs.tbx (NB - you may need to Connect to Folder)
6. Click Open to load "Z_ArcMap to Qgs.tbx" at the bottom of ArcTools.
7. Right click "ArcMap to Quantum GIS" and select Properties.
8. Specify location of python script file "mxd2qgs.py" and click OK.

"USAGE"
1. Once layers are loaded on an ArcMap document, double click "ArcMap to Quantum GIS"
2. Specify name (with .qgs extension) and location of desired QGIS file and click OK.  
3. Open the resulting QGIS file.
