Assumes Ubuntu 14.04.1 server and "Install security updates automatically" was selected during install. Script simply automates:-

  • Enable email to root user on problems or package upgrades
  • Enable Automatic reboot
  • Set apt-get autoclean interval to 7 days (default is never)
