I wonder if we should create a contributing branch to pull this into and work on, rather than merge into master and make tweaks @chrisdavidmills -- can you help edit this, leaving comments on the pull request, etc.? |

I've created a contributing branch that we can work in now. We can just push work there until we're happy with it--then make a pull request from contributing to master. |
