Created by the prepare release pr workflow.

Once all builds pass and it has been approved by one or more maintainers,
start the deploy workflow, using these parameters:

  • Use workflow from: release-7.4.3.
  • Release version: 7.4.3.

After the deploy workflow has been approved by a core maintainer, the package will be uploaded to PyPI automatically.

Unfortunately the publish release notes part of the deploy failed, created #11548 to investigate why.

Traditionally pytest publishes tags in the form X.Y.Z, however the deploy workflow (copied from somewhere else) published this tag in the form vX.Y.Z. This is fixed by #11550.

I've pushed 7.4.3 to the same hash as v7.4.3, to avoid having any automated scripts that depend on the official tag format missing/breaking on 7.4.3.
