Manage Ramsey Lab EC2 instances
This is a simple python/CGI-based manager for AWS EC2 instances. It currently
works only in a single AWS zone. It is designed to run in Ubuntu 18.04 on an EC2
instance (no other method of deployment or host OS is tested or supported).
Note that the EC2 instance that is hosting the aws-manager
does not need to
be in the same AWS zone as the zone that is being managed by the aws-manager
.
For example, we currently host an aws-manager
software installation in
us-east
, and that aws-manager
installation actually manages the lab's EC2
instances in us-west-2
.
These are the minimum specifications of the EC2 instance for running the aws-manage
software.
