Please check the issue for more details. Search in JIRA using "Deprecate Kontainer engine".

Summary

  • Kev1 is deprecated in 2.8 of Rancher. Removing the codebase related to it except for RKEv1 codebase. That codebase will be removed when RKEv1 is removed.

It looks fine for me, but it has to be also checked someone from Rancher terraform team

Targeting for 2.11.0 Rancher.

@matttrach I just realised that UI and backend are interdependent. So, we need to wait until UI does some investigation. So 2.11.0 might not be the one.
