Welcome to the (Richonguzman / CD2RXU) LoRa_APRS_iGate wiki!

This Firmware started as a DIY LoRa APRS iGate with just an ESP32 Wroom and a SX1278 Module and then migrated to the TTGO boads. The main goal was always to get all the functionality of the traditional VHF APRS but with a few improvements based on new technology available.

The first goal was to receive LoRa packets and upload them to APRS-IS servers. The second was to receive the feed of APRS-IS servers and transmit to nearby stations packets. Third was to have Queries on the iGate accessible from APRS and LoRa. Fourth was to transmit packet to listened stations as per APRS recommendations. Fifth was to change modes into Rx only iGate, Tx+Rx iGate, Digirepeater Rx and Tx same frequency and Digirepeater with Rx and Tx in different Frequencies. Sixth was OTA updates. Seventh was Syslog Server possibility. Eigth was support for BME280 Modules (Temperature, Humidity, Pressure).
