this is a big pr, rather than collecting metrics and feeding it through the dd-agent pipeline - we instead collect them to our own database.
we track a bunch more "generic" events and all the relevant information that goes with it. this is coupled with the new exporter script, which every few hours will export all this data to an s3 bucket being auto ingested to Snowflake for data visualization in Mode.
