Introduction
GoodVibrations is an application for Android Phones that simplifies the arduous task of managing ringtones and volume levels. GV allows users to create custom management for ringtones and volume based on time of day and location. GV is split into two main screens: Triggers and Functions. Users can select triggers based either on time of day or location. From here, the user links the triggers onto functions that he/she made (current functions are either a set ringtone level or a specific ringtone). When a trigger is fired, the phone then activates each function linked to the trigger.
EX: Billy Ray wants his phone to play his "achy breaky heart" ringtone when he's at home, but not at work (its embarrasing). He also wants his phone to be silent from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM so it doesn't wake him up. First, he creates a ringtone function for "Achy Breaky Heart" and a function for the default ringtone. He then makes a location trigger, navigates to his house via the on-screen map, and selects that location. He then links the "achy breaky heart" function to the house trigger. Next, he follows a similar process for his work, but selects the default ringtone function. Next, he creates a trigger called silent that turns of his ringtone volume. Finally, he creates a time trigger with a start time of 12:00 AM and an end time of 7:00 AM and links it to his silent trigger.
