Currently does nothing but the structure is in place.
And fix a few issues as we go.
This will help clarify to the user what is being displayed. Hopefully it also makes clearer that there is a menu, as this is not always obvious with some themes.
This make the code more readable as otherwise it is a monster if-block.
Simplifies some calling code.
