Social network analysis (SNA) is used extensively in a wide range of applications, including:
- Disease transmission
- Counter-intelligence and law enforcement
- Communication studies
- Identifying collusion
- Recommender systems
- etc...
These analyses often involve dealing with highly complex graphs with large numbers of nodes and edges representing different entities and relationships. A number of different techniques have been developed to extract insight from these networks. The aim of this project is to seed SingularityNET (SNET) with some of these methods.
- Standard methods that can be used as examples to demonstrate how to create SNET agents
- A more complex example of SNA techniques applied to US politics and in particular to highlight the influence campaign contributions has on voting behaviour and federal and state contract awards
