The path cache should in theory be updated whenever the given input directory has a newer write time than the cached version. If it's not doing that we should rather try to fix that instead of disabling it. On the Kitodo Server at UBBS it can take several seconds to load the workspaces page without the cache due to the thousands of folders in the Kitodo metadata directory. |

Oh, I see. It did not work for us out of the box, so I thought maybe this feature is not entirely productive. Will take a closer look (and perhaps open an issue). Thanks for the explanation! |
