Hello!

My name is José Simões. I’m a husband and father of two sons. I live and work at Leiria, Portugal.

Currently I'm CEO at Eclo Solutions, a company that I've created in 2003 along with three colleagues.

I’m founder and core team lead of .NET nanoFramework, an Open Source project that allows programming in .NET C# for micro-controllers.

Sponsorship will allow me to spend more time contributing to .NET nanoFramework and all the related projects that summed up, compose this great eco-system of tools that allow creating IoT sensors, small devices, robotics, learning platforms and pretty much any other area where a micro-controller is up to the task.
