Hi, I'm Roderick van Domburg, an open-source developer from the Netherlands with a strong interest in audio and software. By day, I manage large-scale defense projects, and by night, I work on open-source tools that bring better audio experiences to more people.

I've contributed to projects like pleezer and librespot, focusing on improving the quality and accessibility of streaming audio. My goal is to create software that's practical, innovative, and fair to everyone involved.

My Work

pleezer

pleezer is the first open-source implementation of the Deezer Connect protocol. It allows people to use Deezer on a wider range of devices, improving flexibility for listeners.

librespot

As a maintainer of librespot, I've contributed major updates, including:

• Migrating the codebase to Spotify's new HTTP-based API, ensuring long-term compatibility.
• Adding features like dithering, dynamic limiting, and floating-point audio processing to enhance playback quality.

These efforts ensure librespot remains a reliable option for high-quality Spotify streaming.
