Team Vuo leads the design and development process for the open-source project Vuo. We believe in the potential of Vuo to give more people the ability to create interactive artwork without having to write text code.

In addition to funding Vuo ourselves using revenue from consulting work and Vuo Pro license sales, we use donations from the community to help fund server hosting/maintenance, insurance, and basic living expenses for staff.

The community leads the decision process by creating and voting on feature requests, and Team Vuo uses the community's feedback as the primary factor in deciding how to prioritize our design and development time. Team Vuo collectively spends about 50 hours per week working on Vuo — providing community support, triaging issues, implementing new features, fixing bugs, writing documentation, making video tutorials, testing, and publishing releases. Team Vuo's other time is spent working on for-pay consulting projects that help fund Vuo.
