Hi, I am Tejaswa Gavankar. I'm currently getting my MBA at USC Marshall in Los Angeles.
I have worn a few hats since I began my career:
- Product - As the India lead for my team at Credit Suisse I worked with most of our stakeholders. I'd work with the users to to plan milestones and shape our backlog and then define and track KPIs. I thrive in exploring new technologies for greenfield projects and scaling them from PoC to production.
- Technical skills - As a senior developer, I've worked in predictive analytics and data engineering over Credit Suisse's largest data repository. I'm comfortable with Python, R, NLP, SQL, Angular and various cloud services from GCP and Azure. Check out my resume for professional projects and this page for things I did for fun.
- Strategy - At KPMG I got to make strategic reccomendations to India's largest organizations. Applying structured thinking and problem solving to the lens of business was a big motivation for my MBA. At Meta too I presented a strategic view of emerging trends in social media and where Facebook could bridge the gap.
I played a significant part in Credit Suisse’s Branding and Collaboration workstreams, coordinating strategic partnerships for the India COO. I've also been engaged with iTeach Schools, an educational non-profit, for 3 years where I worked with the board to execute new programs in STEM. Have a look at my blogs.
I graduated in Computer Engineering from the prestigious College of Engineering Pune in 2018. I have been brought up in a military family and have lived in multiple cities and countries so far. Hope to knock out many more!
I'd love to hear from you at [email protected] or a DM on LinkedIn
