This Magento extension contains a tiny CMS widget that allows one to render a singke product on a arbitrary CMS page. We use this extension for enabling a customer to show a "Product of the day" offer on the homepage.
Just download and copy the files in your Magento root folder - thats it. Afterwards go to you cms page and add the new widget "Catalog single product".
This extension should work on all Magento versions
