Synology DSM7 dark mode

UserCSS dark mode theme for Synology's DSM 7 operating system.

Installation

1. Install Stylus on your favorite browser:
   • Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/styl-us/
   • Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylus/clngdbkpkpeebahjckkjfobafhncgmne
2. Visit the raw page of the css, or click here:
   • https://github.com/viciousnemesis/Synology_DSM7_dark_mode/raw/main/Synology_DSM7_dark_mode.user.css
3. Click on Install Style:
   • 
4. Update DSM url:
   • Stylus -> Manage -> Settings -> synology_url -> set to your Synology's URL (e.g. https://192.168.xxx.yyy:5001/) -> Save

5. [Optional] - Update color themes to your preferences. These changes are local, and won't interfer with updates.

Update

1. Automatically:
   • Set Stylus to autoupdate:
     • Click on Stylus -> Settings -> Options -> Updates -> Set to a non-zero value
     • 
   • Set Synology_DSM7_dark_mode to autoupdate:
     • Click on Stylus -> Manage -> Synology DSM 7 Dark Mode -> Settings
       1. Ensure 'Check for updates' is checked
       2. Ensure URL is filled in: https://github.com/viciousnemesis/Synology_DSM7_dark_mode/raw/main/Synology_DSM7_dark_mode.user.css
     • 
2. Manually:
   • Click on: Stylus -> Manage -> Synology DSM 7 Dark Mode -> Check for update
     • 
   • You may be asked to overwrite, go ahead (it will overwrite, so make sure if you are changing things you have a saved copy):
