#Braitenberg Vehicles Valentino Braitenberg was an Italian neuroscientist who published a book in the 1970's called Vehicles - Experiements in Synthetic Psychology. In the book he describes a thought experiment where he imagines 10 hypothetical vehicles. These vehicles became know as Braitenberg Vehicles.

The examples below recreate Braitenberg Vechiles using a JavaScript framework called FloraJS.

###Vehicle 1 Has one sensor tuned to temperature and directly wired to one motor. It slows down around cold and speed up around heat.

###Vehicle 2a Has two sensors tuned to light and wired to motors on the same side of the vehicle.

###Vehicle 2b Has two sensors tuned to light and wired to motors on the opposite side of the vehicle.

###Vehicle 3a Has two sensors tuned to food and wired to motors on the opposite side of the vehicle. The senor's current is invented so the motor receives the most activity in the absence of light.

###Vehicle 3b Has two sensors tuned to food and wired to motors on the opposite side of the vehicle. The senor's current is dampened to prevent drastic differences between the speed of the motors.

###Vehicle Curious Has two sensors tuned to heat and wired to motors on the opposite side of the vehicle. Vehicle attempts to arrive at midpoint between itself and the stimulus. After arriving, it reverses direction and accelerates to max speed.

###Vehicle Values Combines all the above sensors.
