About the Pull Request

This PR begins the epic process of adding all lore Dominion tech into the game properly.

The engraver is a two-parts construction that allows people to use specific nanochips to either imprint(upgrade) skills, add languages or some other kind of knowledge.

The PR also adds the "Dominion Tech" into R&D, with Engraver being currently the only thing in it.

From the lore doc:

Mind engravers/imprinters: A complicated machine/tool used to overwrite or add new knowledge, memories or skills directly to the brain. While at the height of its power, the precursor state used it primarily for brainwashing and training those associated with military, government and scientific research.
The machine/tool uses complicated micro-cards(i.e. a combination of nanochips) with the data used to be imprinted on the brain. Producing and programming those nanochips is the more difficult task, and as such, usually only a few pre-programmed options are available. The device cannot be used on masses due to certain limitations(TBD: Either power consumption, rare consumables, etc).

  • Scientists of the Terran Dominion used it to instantly memorize all knowledge associated with their department of research. It was possible to effectively know everything with a few “expansion modules” for the user’s brain, granted such a micro-card existed.
  • Soldiers could use it for a multitude of reasons, including instantaneous combat training and briefing about certain tasks(usually prolonged conflicts or situations, as programming and producing a micro-card for those purposes would take at least a year).
  • If you needed to, you could easily inject the entirety of human history, laws, languages and many other things into your brain. These were mostly used for the elites of the Terran Dominion. Language knowledge was imprinted for diplomats and other government officials if it was necessary.
  • It is possible to “copy one’s brain” and then re-apply it in a form of micro-card, but the amount of effort that would go into it would be enormous. Still, theoretically one could “clone” their persona onto someone else.

Why It's Good For The Game

Adds sick ultra-tech to the game! Makes lore real.

Did you test it?
