Bug Description:

"Google Pay" button fails to display on "Product" and "Cart" page when "Legacy checkout experience" is enabled.

Environment:

Woocommerce Version : WooCommerce 9.4.3
WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway: 9.0.0-test
Wordpress version: 6.7.1

PC:
Windows 10:
Chrome (v131.0.6778.109)

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create any test site.
2. Install and activate all the required plugins.
3. Upload and activate the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway v9.0.0-test plugin.
4. Connect the store to a Stripe account.
5. Go to the Stripe extension settings page > Settings tab.
6. Scroll down to "Advanced settings"
7. Check off the checkbox labeled "Enable the legacy checkout experience" and save
8. Go to Stripe settings > Payment Methods tab > Express checkouts
9. Enable Apple Pay / Google Pay.
10. Go to "Product" page or "Cart" page after adding product to cart.
11. Observe that, "Google Pay" button fails to display on "Product" and "Cart" page

• I have deactivated other plugins and confirmed this bug occurs when only WooCommerce plugin is active.
• This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active, or Storefront.
• I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.
