During my internship from Jan 2022 to June 2022, I learnt a lot about full stack app development, the software development lifecycle, and the DevOps activities surrounding it through practical work. These works and projects are listed below -

In August 2022, My team and I placed First runner-up in this inter-university DevOps Hackathon hosted at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. There, we were tasked with creating, deploying, and managing a University Result Management System (URMS) following DevOps best practices.

In just a matter of 24 hours, my 2 teammates and I:

1. Performed requirement analysis and prepared the SRS (Software requirement specification) documentation (available here).
2. Created a full stack application with the MEAN stack (details).
3. Provisioned the infrastructure for Azure Kubernetes using Terraform (IaaC) (details).
4. Containerized the application and deployed it to Azure Kubernetes.
5. Created three pipelines (with GitHub actions) for automation - one for the backend, one for the frontend, and one for the documentation.
6. Setup Prometheus and Grafana, created a dashboard to monitor the cluster.
7. Setup automated alerts on 9 metrics that are to be pushed to slack.
