Study Human-Computer Interaction Class class on Udacity. Watch the below part of the HCI class:
Write a report to explain 3 of the below need-finding methods mentioned in the video. Do your own research online. 1 page for each method. You will be using these methods to complete the homework for this class.
- Naturalistic observation
- Participant observation
- Hacks and workarounds

- Interviews and focus group
- Think aloud
- Post-event protocol

Please divide and conquer within your group on how to conduct the need-finding. (You should finish watching the materials and have a scrum planning meeting on Monday.)

Form a plan. Before any need-finding activity, it is important to form a plan first. It is not only important for the finding process itself but also helps avoid bias. An example of need-finding planning report - need-finding planning.

Conduct the need-finding. Please make sure to include 3 types of need-finding activities. You need to conduct user interviews. The rest 2 types of need-finding can be chosen freely.
