Functional Blocks

- A rare item found in shipwrecks or sold by the wandering trader
- Will display a randomly generated blocky world that is unique to your current seed
- Once interacted with it will spin and display the current world coordinates
- Every spin will rotate it by one face
- Will also spin once powered by redstone
- Can give off a comparator output that depends on the current face. Useful for activation mechanisms
- Can shoot any item
- Shot blocks will be placed (just like with slingshots)
- Projectile items will be shot as entities (supports all mods)
- Shooting power depends on the selected gunpowder level
- Can be placed on all the sides of a block
- Can be activated by flint and steel, gunpowder trail or redstone
- Projectiles shot by the player will count as such. Try enderpearls!
- Each selected gunpowder level will require and consume 1 gunpowder item when cannon is shot
- Clicking on the maneuver button or shift clicking will activate the maneuver mode
- Rotate your mouse to aim the cannon precisely where you want
- Maneuver mode will show exactly where the projectile will land, regardlesss of the projectile type
- Increase power level with Scroll Wheel
- Has 3 aiming mode: parabolic 1, parabolic 2 and manual aim. Switch between them using Space Bar
- Press Left Click to fire,
Right Click
to hide the trajectory lines - Exit the mode with E, Shift or Esc
- Cannon specific projectile
- Will break blocks it touches based of its Kinetic Energy
- Every broken block will subtact energy (speed) from it proportional to the block hardness value
- Can bounce off the ground when shot from a steep angle
- Will interact kinetically with all entities, transferring part of its energy to them depending on their mass (hitbox)
- This include cannonballs themselves, try to bounce them off eachother!
- Can be placed on walls, floors and ceilings
- Can be stacked up to 4 to create candelabras and chandeliers
- Give off a bit more light that candles making them viable light sources
- Like sconces can be lit up and extinguished in many ways like with fire charges, flaming arrows, gunpowder or shovels to name a few
- come in 17 colors
- Can be tilted when clicked with an empty hand
- Shifting while on an awinign will make the player fall through it
- Falling on an awning will make the player bounce off of it, depending on its angle too!
- Can be placed on supporting blocks as well as against themselves
- Can be placed on both upper and lower part of a block
- When stacked vertically will visually connect
- Can have one item placed on top of them
- Certain items like swords, tools and tridents and globes will have special visual properties when displayed on a pedestal
- Once an item is taken or removed from a pedestal the block will give out a observer detectable update. Useful for traps
- This can be prevented if one swaps the item with a sack
- If an end crystal is placed on a pedestal the block will give off an enchanting power equal to 3 bookshelves. This means that with 5 of such blocks you'll be able to max out an enchanting table
- Essentially an horizontal banner
- Will swing in the wind and have a fancy animation option that can be enabled in the configs or viewed with fabulous graphics
- Due to the different resolution and shape they use a different set of texture for their patterns. This means that new unique shapes can be created
- Can be crafted from existing banners and come in all colors
- Can be lowered and raised if placed on top a pole made with placeable sticks
- Can be placed on Ropes
- Come in all colors
- Will swing in the wind
- A container block which can hold 1 item stack
- When interacting with its gui you can choose a player to which it will be adressed to as well as a small description
- Once packed only you and the recipient will be able to open it and access its content
- Comes in 16 + 1 colors
- When a block is burned by fire it will have a change to create one of more ash layer, depending in its flammability
- Ash layers are affected by gravity and can pile up
- Can be harvested with a shovel and is used to craft soap
- Can drop from burning mobs
- Also found in basalt deltas
- Rain will slowly wash away ash layers
- Makes entities that walk on it "slip"
- Can be placed next to a wet sponge which is in contact with a bellow to make the setup emit bubble particles
- Dissolves into particles when it touches water
- Dissolves in rain
- Can hold any food item, up to 9 stacks of them

to open/close the item - Once open you can eat from it the food it contains

to switch the food you have selected. The item must be closed first though - Shift Click to place the item down as a block
- When jumping on it or falling on it, the block will break
- Can be made into a Suspicious variant holding any item
- Can hold and display either a written book, a map or a banner pattern
- When it's displaying a written book it will only show one page at the time
- The text resolution that is getting displayed depends on the amount of text in a page. Add whitespaces to make it render smaller
- Once given a redstone pulse it will turn the currently displayed page onto the next one
- Can be waxed to prevent interactions
- A layered block that serves as a way to automatically feed animals
- Many animals (controlled via a tag) will try to eat a layer out of the block when they are hungry
- When eaten it will make baby animals age faster and will set adults in love. Uses the vanilla cooldown

- Clicking with a hoe will remove and destroy one layer
- Spikes that will slow and damage all the mobs that walk in them
- If quark or create are installed they can be pushed with pistons or contraptions and will deal extra damage if they hit something while extending
- Can be infused with lingering potions. To do so either craft them, click on them or pour the potion using a faucet
- By default they can only accept negative lingering potions and have infinite charge.
- You can however enable an alternative mode in the configs which allows them to have 16 changes and accept any potion. Charges will only be depleted when an entity that does not have that potion effect walks over them
- Like an armor stand but just the head
- Shift click with empty had to wobble it
- A finite liquid
- Up to 16 layers can be in a single block
- Will spread out evenly as thin as possible
- A bucket can deploy and scoop exactly 16 connected layers
- Has unique light properties
- Cool iridescent animated texture
- Can be lit on fire and instantly spreads to all connected blocks
- Stepping on can apply the flammable effect for a few seconds
- Drinking from a bottle will apply the glowing effect and the flammable one
- Flammable effext extends the on fire duration and makes the affected entity spread fire as they walk

- Can support any plant or crop without the need of water, useful for nether farms
- Also prevent the crop from being trampled
- Have optional farmers delight rich soil support
- Can hold and display either text, an item or a banner pattern or even a map
- Can be attached to the bottom of a block or to the side and will visually connect to fences and walls
- Will visually swing when hit by entities
- Can be written on to create interesting pattern in black and white. Basically a bare bones MS Paint in Minecraft
- Can also be directly edited without the GUI by holding a dye item. This also supports other mods like chalk or similar items like quatz or coal. Doing so won't consume the item
- Will keep its drawing when broken.
- The current drawing can be previewed using the item tool tip
- Blackboards can be duplicated just like banners
- Can be cleared by using a wet sponge or soap
- Can be waxed to prevent interactions
- Can accept glow ink
- Colored blackboards can be enabled in the configs
- Framed blocks come in 3 shapes: Braces, Cross Braces and Frames
- Each of them can visually hold any solid block inside. This allows to make every block into a framed one. To do so simply click on it with said block
- An option to frame an already placed block when clicking on it with this item is available in the configs
- Using an axe on a framed block will break the frame but not the block contained inside
- A new medieval themed decorative block that goes hand it hand with framed blocks
- When daub is placed inside a framed block it will convert into the respective wattle and daub
- Acts as a sort of upgraded shulker box that is fire resistant
- Safes can be locked with a key. Once this is done their content will only be available to players that have the correct key in their inventory. See the key section for more info
- An optional config is avialable in the configs that allows them to get bounded to the first player the places them, without the need to use a key
- To unlock and clear the ownership of a safe simply shift click on it with its key or a tripwire hook if simple safes are enabled
- In the configs one can also enable an option to make them indestructible unless one holds the correct key
- Creative players can bypass locks
- Just like safes they can be locked with keys. Once this is done only a key owner can interact with them
- By default they are accessible to anyone until first locked
- When powered by redstone will disable any interaction with any player
- This means that a powered door cannot be opened or closed regardless of its state
- Creative players can bypass locks
- Decorative item that acts as an upgraded fence gate
- Can visually connect with other gates that are placed ontop of them
- Can be placed against a ceiling, on a fence or wall or next to an already placed rope
- Just like scaffolding they can only go that far out horizontally from their closest support until they are no longer supported
- Vertical ropes have no hitbox and can be climbed
- Horizontal ropes do have a hitbox and can be walked on, albeit at a slower paste. Your screen will also wobble as you try to balance on them
- Can be broken by a projectile. Doing so or breaking them will also break connected ropes which are being supported.
- Shearing a rope will make remove its bottom connection
- Placing a rope against an existing vertical one will result in the rope getting extended downwards, pushing all blocks that are attached to the bottom most rope
- The opposite is also true and can be achieved by shift clicking a rope with an empty hand. This will pull up the last attached block. Useful for wells
- Ropes can be placed and will dynamically wrap themselves against many fence like blocks such as walls, beams and posts. This includes many many mods that also add horizontal facing ones like Quark's posts
- Falling down ropes will not slow you down but still prevent fall damange. A cool sound will also play
- Can burn really fast similar to gunpowder
- Can spawn in mineshafts in a rare new elevator piece
- Can support Buntings
- A decorative and storage block that can provide a use for your extra flints
- When pushed by a piston it can scrape agains any full face iron-like block to produce sparks.
- If a flammable block is nearby it will catch fire! This allows to have a on demand durationless flint and steel
- Opposite also works which means you can move an iron block agains a flint block instead
- These interactions also work with Quark magnets
- Stepping on one with some iron boots will also set stuff on fire
- Extremely fluffy!
- When fallen or stepped upon will emit feather particles and will let the player slowly fall into it, negating all fall damage
- Can hold and display 3 lines of text
- Cats will occasionally sit on it
- One single item can be hidden below it. To do so shift click on any face except the top one
- Decorative items that are meant to provide an alternative to torches
- Can be lit with flint and still, fire charges, fi re arrows or placeable gunpowder
- Can be unilt by waterlogging or by using a water splash potion
- Won't break when waterlogged
- Up to two of them can be placed on any fence or placed stick
- Their orientation depends on the way the player faces when placing them
- Their direction is always set but it can be reversed by shift clicking one
- Click on one with a compass to make it point toward the pointer position (either the world spawn or lodestone position)
- Like all signs they support dyes and inks
- Can also be placed against walls
- Can hold tall flowers and similar plants (such as vines, cave vines, nether vines and such)
- Can be configured to hold up to 3 plants instead
- Can be placed in the middle of a block or to the side in all directions and even hanged from ceilings
- Can hold an item in hand
- Some items have special visuals like candles, tools and swords
- When powered with redstone it will wave
- Patreons and donators can access unique statues with their skins through renaming one with their name
- Acts as an early game shulker box with 9 slots
- Sacks are heavy and when carrying more than 2 the player will have the overencumbered effect applied
- Mod includes a tag that you can assign to other items to make them behave like this too
- Is a gravity block and will deal damage when it falls on an entity. Damage depends on sack content
- Its slots and properties are configurable in the configs
- Can be interacted with similar to a bundle
- With quark installed it also has a fancy tooltip
- Can hold and display any liquid
- Valid liquids include normal fluids, potions, honey, milk and so many others with support from many mods too. If you see something in a bottle or bowl it can likely be accepted as a fluid.
- Any displayed liquid, if drinkable, can be drinked directly and instantly by clicking on it.
- Interacts with comparators
- Can be used to capture small animals and mobs
- To do so right or left click a mob with a cage item
- Right click with a full cage to release the mob
- To place the block down you will need to shift right click
- The list of mobs that can be captured can is controlled by an entity tag which already includes many modded mobs
- One can also enable a dynamic list which will whitelist all mobs that are detected to be small enough
- Captured mobs will not age nor be interactable and some will have some custom animations. Chickens can still lay eggs while captured
- Can store up to 12 cookie like items. Include many modded ones
- Stored cookies can be directly eaten by interacting with it
- Just like cages it can store and capture small mobs. The whitelist is different though
- Jars can store up to 12 bottles (or 3k mb) of fluids. This follows the same logic that goblets use. Refer to that section for more information
- If enabled in the configs, one can drink directly from jars, both in item and block form
- Note that the entire fluid system used by jars is extremely customizable and data driven. This means you can add custom fluids using datapacks!
- New Blocks: Blackstone Tiles & Lantern, Stone Tiles & Lantern, Deepslate Lantern, Endstone Lanter, Checker Block, Ash Bricks, Fine Wood
- Just some simple building blocks that I felt were missing. Oddly enough that's all. Crazy I know xD
