First Steps Beginner's Guide

This roughly explains what I would do when I join a new world. You can't do anything wrong, resetting stats is easy and cheap, changing origin too. You won't lose any progress.

You will keep your equiped gear and your item hotbar on death. You only drop your main inventory.

1. choose your origin
2. press "H" to open your stats menu, spend your stat points, spell points and talent points.LINK
3. basic minecraft stuff (craftingtable -> crafting pad, tools, build a small shelter, ...)
4. get some iron and build a few Plant Jars (-> endless wood)
5. build all the stations from Age of Exile
6. start killing mobs, destroy spawners, gather loot, raid some battletowers
7. fishing is a great way to get some crates that will help you out early on
8. build a dynocapsule, take your base with you and explore all the dimensions!
