In the above figure, the second line is the ultrasound image sequence collected by the ultrasound doctor with different contact forces. The first line is the image simulated by the Inverse confidence map algorithm. The input of the Inverse confidence map algorithm is a clear ultrasound image.
The contact force between ultrasonic probe and patient directly affects the quality of ultrasonic image. When the contact force is small, the image quality is poor. The purpose of this project is to establish the mapping relationship between image quality and contact force.

In our project, we try to establish the mapping relationship between ultrasonic image pixels and ultrasonic attenuation characteristics: I=I0 * exp (- 2 * a * x)
Where, I0 is the pixel of the original ultrasonic image, I is the image pixel reduced according to the ultrasonic attenuation characteristics, exp is the index, and a is the ultrasonic attenuation coefficient, which is related to the contact force. Generally, we think that the greater the contact force, the smaller the a. X is the distance between the pixel and the ultrasonic wave source.
This is a very simple procedure. We only need to adjust the ultrasonic attenuation coefficient to get the transformed image. The value of a is between (0.001 and 0.008).

这是一个很简单的程序,我们只需要调整超声波衰减系数即可以得到变换后的图像。a的值在(0.001,0.008)之间。
