Introduction

Welcome to the Datavyu Guide. It is broken into two sections, the User Guide and the Contributor Guide. The User Guide contains information about how to use Datavyu in day-to-day use, how to create scripts that can print and modify your data, and how to create plugins for new data sources. See the Datavyu website for more general information about the Datavyu Project. While the Contributor Guide contains information on how to become involved in the development of Datavyu. With details on how to contribute documentation, as well as fixes and improvements.

Datavyu is software for marking up video or other data in an extremely flexible way. It comes with a plugin for coding video data using VLC, which is a powerful video playing software. In order to use this plugin, VLC must be installed on your system.
