uni-titlepage is a universal LaTeX titlepage package. The first purpose of the package is to provide a universal extended user interface for titlepages. Partly the interface is compatible with interface of usual classes like the LaTeX standard classes or the KOMA-Script classes. So it provides usual commands like \title, \author, \date etc. to setup the contents for the titlepages and command \maketitle to generate the titlepages. However it also provides a key-value interface. And it provides several new variables and therefore keys.
The second purpose of the package is to provide predefined outputs of titlepages. Despite the uni in the name does not mean university, titlepages for universities are often asked and therefore a subject of the package. So some of the predefined definitions are for universities and colleges. However, this second purpose needs your contribution. We can only add definitions to the package, if you help to implement them. So if you either have made or just need a titlepage definition of common interest, please contribute.
The root of the package is the titlepage project of the KOMA-Script Documentation Project. But after more than 12 years and lots of users, it was time to make a stand-alone project. It has been renamed to uni-titlepage because titlepage is a kind of generic name. The changed name should also be a statement: The package is universal, i.e., not a KOMA-Script package and not limited to be used with KOMA-Script classes. uni-titlepage is almost compatible with the old titlepage package.
I intend to provide all the information of this wiki in English and also in German. But I cannot promise to do so always immediately. One more thing you can contribute.
