bx address decode

Convert a payment address to its component parts.

$ bx address-decode --help

Usage: bx address-decode [-h] [--config VALUE] [--format VALUE]          
[PAYMENT_ADDRESS]                                                        

Info: Convert a payment address to its component parts.                  

Options (named):

-c [--config]        The path to the configuration settings file.        
-f [--format]        The output format. Options are 'info', 'json' and   
                     'xml', defaults to 'info'.                          
-h [--help]          Get a description and instructions for this command.

Arguments (positional):

PAYMENT_ADDRESS      The payment address to convert. If not specified the
                     address is read from STDIN.

These examples demonstrate the use of the --format option, which is available on a number of commands. The default format for any command is info. The info format is similar to json but optimized for human readability.
