Browserstack Testing

We use BrowserStack for compatibility testing. This can be problematic owing to the MoJ whitelist, which is used to restrict access to the intranet. You can workaround this problem by enabling the Local Testing mode in the BrowswerStack window (look for the button below the History input), and then ticking the Resolve all URLs through my network checkbox in the Local Testing settings:

This will ensure you can test https://intranet.justice.gov.uk using any network where it is whitelisted (i.e. it will work over the VPN as well).

Note: When you first push the Local Testing button, it will ask to install a browser extension. Local testing will not work without this extension.
