Rolling Rhino Remix - rhino-deinst Documentation

rhino-deinst is a tool that allows you to install desktop environments and the corresponding display managers easily. This tool includes GNOME, KDE, XFCE, Unity, UKUI, and various other DEs and window managers if you don't want a full desktop.

Getting started

To start using the utility, simply open up a terminal and type in rhino-deinst. A prompt will come up with the list of desktops and WMs for you to choose from. To scroll through the list, simply use the arrow keys. To select an option, press the space bar. To install your selected options, press Enter.

Please note that installing Budgie (Ubuntu) or Unity will install dependencies via snapd. If you don't want snaps at all on the system, run either rhino-config enable --snapdpurge or sudo apt-mark hold snapd
