I was thinking a followup PR to this could be making the green fairy hallucination more interesting, with a new shader. We pretty much have seeing rainbows for absolutely everything trippy. And they are green... |

Banana honk contains trace ammounts of Laughter now (It's made from bananas and sugar, so seemed appropriate). It will make you laugh for a while when you drink it. Hippies delight actually gets you high too.

About the PR
Drinking enough absinthe makes you mildly hallucinate. The absinthe glass has a smaller volume.
Why / Balance
Absinthe was notorious for making you hallucinate which lead to it being banned across most of the western world for a while. This was later debunked, but it seemed like a missed opportunity not to include in the game.
The absinthe glass also now holds 4 drinks worth instead of 6. Why would you serve the most potent alcohol on the station in a beer glass and have people puking all over your bar? One glass now has enough ethanol to be just under the ammount to make you vomit, and two sips away from poisoning.
The hallucinations are minor, it uses the Seeing Rainbows effect, but mostly just the wavy effect, with just the hint of rainbows. They wear off around the same time the drunk effect becomes particularly noticeable. If you are giving yourself alcohol poisoning, then it can get quite technicolor for a while.
Drinking in moderation (pausing between sips) will get you drunk, without the hallucinations.
There is also a small chance that: 'You hear a tiny voice. "Tee hee hee!"' or 'You feel tulips brush up against your legs.'. Both of these are references to real world accounts of the supposed effects of absinthe.

Shouldn't have serious conflicts with #34348 but was made with that PR in mind. This edited a lot of different files so was kept separate.
