Rules Clarifications

The game is based off of 1856 with some differences

• Train buying
  • Corporations are limited to buying one train of any given rank an OR from the depot(A corp cannot buy a pair of 2Ts, but can buy the last 2T and the first 3T)
• Tile lays
  • Spider and Lake brown city tiles can be laid freely in brown phase without restriction (in 1856 there are restrictions)
  • Lille and Brussels upgrade as if they were London or Barrie respectively
  • Rotterdam & Den Haag gets to upgrade to the gray Hamilton tile
  • Amsterdam upgrades as if it were Toronto
• How do the green and blue offboard locations work?
  • They count against the length of the train, but the train must touch at least two additional revenue locations.
  • The value is 20 or 40, depending on phase, times the number of the operating corporation's tokens on the route.
