Connecting to EDA

The Outbound Funds EDA Extension package is currently on hold as the roadmap for EDA is defined and advanced. Stay tuned for that exciting addition to the Outbound Fund package group. Until then, there are few configuration adjustments that you can use to make the Outbound Funds (core) package fit more closely within the EDA architecture.

Once you have installed the Outbound Fund (core) package:

1. Connect Funding Programs into EDA Account model
   1. Create a Lookup relationship on the Funding Program object to Account object. This will enable you to connect the Funding Program directly to the Academic Program or Department where the Fund “lives.” For example, if you are tracking scholarships given by the English department, you would populate that field with the English Department.
      1. This will allow you to view Funding Programs related to a Department or Academic Program on that Account record.
      2. This will allow you to report on the Funding Requests and Disbursements related to a Funding Programs by Department or Academic Program.
