As of right now, the plugin only officially supports Spigot servers from 1.8 to 1.16, but may work on other platforms such as Paper for the same corresponding versions. Bukkit is completely unsupported.
- Download the latest KitPvP.jar from the plugin page
- If you would like to use PlaceholderAPI placeholders from other plugins in KitPvP's config files, you should additionally download the latest version of PlaceholderAPI
- Place the KitPvP.jar and optional PlaceholderAPI.jar in your plugins folder and completely restart your server
The plugin was created with the minimum intent of having one world dedicated to KitPvP. This can work for both multiworld server setups and BungeeCord servers. Please note that by default, after adding a spawn in your arena world, players will lose their inventory upon arena join unless the Clear
options are toggled in the config.yml.
- Navigate to the world or server you would like to use KitPvP on, and then run
/kp addspawn
, which will create an arena in that world- To add more spawns to an arena, simply continue to run
/kp addspawn
in the same world. Players will be sent randomly to one of those spawns upon join or respawn

- If you have multiple worlds you would like to use KitPvP on, navigate to those worlds and also do
/kp addspawn
, which will register more arenas. When typing/kp spawn
in an arena world, the player will be teleported to that local spawn. To teleport between arenas, players can type/kp arena <arena>
, such as/kp arena Castle
whereCastle
is the world name of the arena
