Troubleshooting issues
Set the spawn or add an arena Users have reported nothing working or functioning correctly. This is most likely due to having no spawn. To do so, go to your preferred world(s) or server to use KitPvP on, and use the command /kp addspawn. Additionally, if your spawn is high up, it is recommended to enable PreventFallDamage to prevent users from taking fall damage.
Check you are running the latest version Updates typically have bug fixes, so before asking anyone for assistance, ensure your server is running the latest version.
Check your permissions Numerous users have reported parts of the plugin not working. KitPvP has numerous permissions, and if regular players do not have access to them they will not have any capabilities within the plugin. A list of all permissions can be found on the Overview page page.
Check for conflicting plugins To check for a conflicting plugin, remove all plugins except KitPvP and restart. If the issue has been resolved, there is a conflicting plugin causing the problem.
Rename the KitPvP plugin folder If the above methods prove unsuccessful, shutdown and rename your KitPvP folder. A fresh new folder will be generated upon restart. If the issue has been fixed, there was likely a file containing invalid information or syntax errors causing the plugin to malfunction.
The plugin won't load at all This is likely because your server is running outdated or unsupported software. My plugin does not support Bukkit, 1.7, or any earlier versions.
Some of the features aren't working when enabled in the config This is likely due to the fact that you gave a player, or players, OP. When you give players OP, it gives them all permissions. So, this would include bypass permissions for breaking blocks, placing blocks, dropping items, etc. If you would like to prevent this, either remove them from OP, or negate the permission in your permissions file.
