Company Principals

Principals have different roles depending on the nature of an individual business, but the universal responsibility of a commercial business principal is significant influence. Some principals are also the founder, owner and CEO. Others own a large portion of company equity and sign off on major decisions. Some principals are simply considered major parties to a business transaction. Many legal documents designate a "principal," the majority of which refer to someone with decision-making authority. Concessions

In the oil and gas industry, a concession generally means a government or a government agency has granted a plot of land to a company or group of companies to conduct hydrocarbon exploration, development, or production activities. More info.

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in a markup language. CSS is designed primarily to enable the separation of document content from document presentation, including aspects such as the layout, colors, and fonts. More info.

In computing, denormalization is the process of attempting to optimize the read performance of a database by adding redundant data or by grouping data. More info.

Front-end web development, also known as client-side development, is the practice of producing HTML, CSS and JavaScript for a website or web application so that a user can see and interact with them directly. More info.

Git is a version control system that is used for software development and other version control tasks. As a distributed revision control system it is aimed at speed, data integrity, and support for distributed, non-linear workflows. More info.

HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the standard markup language used to create web pages. Along with CSS, and JavaScript, HTML is a cornerstone technology used to create web pages, as well as to create user interfaces for mobile and web applications. JSON is an open-standard format that uses human-readable text to transmit data objects consisting of attribute–value pairs. More info.

Node.js is an open-source, cross-platform runtime environment for developing server-side Web applications. Although Node.js is not a JavaScript framework, many of its basic modules are written in JavaScript, and developers can write new modules in JavaScript. More info.

-- Offshore Tax Haven

Generic term for a geographical area outside the jurisdiction of one's home country which imposes only a few restrictions on legitimate business-activities within its jurisdiction, and little or no income tax. Offshore havens generally provide international banking and financial services, and promise privacy of deposits and earnings. More info.

An exploration licence authorizes the holder of such licence to carry on exclusively exploration operations in the block or blocks to which it f subject to such terms and conditions and in such block or blocks as may be specified in such licence. More info.

-- Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)

In financial regulation, "politically exposed person" (PEP) is a term describing someone who has been entrusted with a prominent public function. A PEP generally presents a higher risk for potential involvement in bribery and corruption by virtue of their position and the influence that they may hold. More info.

A primary key is a special relational database table column (or combination of columns) designated to uniquely identify all table records. More info.

In general, a query (noun) is a question, often required to be expressed in a formal way. A database query can be either a select query or an action query. A select query is simply a data retrieval query. An action query can ask for additional operations on the data, such as insertion, updating, or deletion. More info.
