How to Configure Annual Leave

Leave Type

Leave Type refers to the types of leaves that an Employee can use while making Leave Applications.

An employee can select a particular Leave Type while requesting for a leave. You can create any number of Leave Types based on your company’s requirement.

To access Leave Type, go to:

Home > Human Resources > Leaves > Leave Type

If checked Is Paid Annual Leave in Leave Type, then the leave type will ensure to enter Annual Leave Allocation Reduction.Is Paid Sick Leave check will not come along with Is Leave Without Pay

  • Paid Sick Leave Type Dependent: Leave Type (Is Paid Sick Leave=True), to get the number of paid sick leave days based on selected Leave Type. If not selected, then get the number of paid sick leave days for all Paid Sick Leave Type with in the Leave Allocation to update Annual Leave Allocation.

Annual Leave Allocation Reduction:

  • Number of Paid Sick Leave: Paid sick leave days compare against this field to find the percentage of reduction from daily allocation of Annual Leave.
  • Percentage of Allocation Reduction: Percentage of reduction of daily allocation.

Leave Application

The applying employee requires to select their Employee record, Leave Type having Is Paid Annual Leave checked and the period for which the leave is taken.

To create a new Leave Application, go to:

Human Resources > Leaves and Holiday > Leave Application > New Leave Application
