This is a summary of the key changes introduced by this mod, commencing with version 2.0.
- Add 'Instant plopping' option for growables
- Add 'Disable zone check' option for growables
- Add 'Disable district specialization check' option for growables
- Add 'Ignore low land value complaint' option
- Add 'Ignore too few services complaint' option
- Add 'Make plopped buildings historical' option
- Current building selection (if any) is now pre-selected when opening settings panel
- Double-clicking on a building button directly opens settings panel for that building
- Building icons in ploppable panel now sorted by display name
- Thumbnail generation is now on-demand (reduces loading times and memory usage) and includes submeshes and sub-buildings
- Add de, es, fr, jp, ru, tr, pl translations
- New extensible translation framework.
- Active detection of failed assets.
- Settings panel workplace counts now update automatically based on the most recent item changed.
- All workplace buildings are assigned a minimum workplace count of 1 on game load.
- UI performance improvements.
- Added options (in mod options panel through the pause menu) to use plain backgrounds for building thumnail images and for enhanced logging details.
- Changes to thumnail rendering that will (hopefully) result in better-quality images for users of themes with over-saturated lighting.
- Additional failsafes to reduce the risk of buildings losing households when your cities are close to internal game limits.
- Experimental growable building option - customise your growables! Normal 4x4 maximum size restriction applies.
- Experimental live application of settings changes (without having to restart the game).
- Directly access the RICO settings for any building via a Ploppable RICO button in the top-right of any building's information panel.
- Building configuration changes are applied to existing buildings on game load, now including residential homecount reductions.
- Complete overhaul of the way RICO settings are applied; no more behaviour inherited from strangely-configured template assets (e.g. decoration buildings not selectable after game load, buildings highlighted in overlays, residual noise/pollution effects).
