Adding Virtual Environments
Adding Virtual Environments can be done by contributors of VIAProMa to add new virtual environments to the application that can be used in a VR setup. The Virtual Environments feature is organized in a new menu prefab called "Virtual Environments Menu" in which a script is attached that saves the data of the environments in arrays that can be edited in the Inspector. To add a virtual environment to the application, search for the "Virtual Enviroments Menu" prefab in the "Assets" folder. For every array in the Virtual Environments Menu script attached to it, increase the size by the number of environments you want to add. Now you can enter the name, the preview image, the skybox and potentially the 3D object to be used (i.e. the room) as a prefab into the new free spot in the arrays. It is not required to use 3D objects in your environment but it is strongly recommended to give a sense of realism to the user. If you do, please give Credit to the creator of the 3D objects you used in the EnvironmentCredits array. For the preview images to be displayed undistorted, they should have a size of 1540x615 pixels. After saving the prefab you can now test your environment by selecting it in the Virtual Environments Menu in the application as described in the Virtual Environments chapter.
