Sticky Notes

In order to visualize text in three-dimensional space, sticky notes can be used. These objects can display any text and can be moved freely in the room.

Create Notes

To create a new note, press the Make Note button in the main menu under the Visualisations tab. The newly created note then initially contains a sample text. Until implementation in the main menu, this is only possible in the NotesWithMenu test scene.

Move or Delete Notes

At the centre of one edge of the note object there is a button with three dots. Via a menu that appears when this button is pressed, changes can be made to the position and rotation of the note object. The note can also be deleted via this menu.

Edit Notes

To change text in notes, the Edit button must be pressed. The content of the notes can then be freely changed via the virtual keyboard that appears. If you want to clear the entire content of a note, press the Clear button.

Pin Notes

The user interface of note objects can be hidden for clarity. This can be done by pressing the Pin button. The user interface can then be shown again by simply pressing the Unpin button.

Change the Colour of a Note

Notes can be given a specific colour for ease of reference. If a note is pinned, this colour is displayed as a filled circle at the top left of the note. To change the colour, press the Cycle color button when the note is not pinned. In unpinned state, the current selection is indicated by the colour of the separator bar.

Notes and Multiple Users

Notes can be processed with the Save/Load - system. In order for notes to persist over a user's login time, a save and a load must be performed initially. It should be mentioned that notes can only be changed by the user who created them in text or position. Notes are thus always private!
