S1_FS
FS1: As a student enthusiastic about playing volleyball with others, my goal is to connect with like-minded individuals and have a nice match. To achieve this, I aim to simply click on the search bar, type "volleyball," and then scroll through the available groups and events. Ultimately, my aim is to click an event or group that aligns with my interests, enabling me to not only enjoy playing volleyball but also to forge new connections and have a great time.
FS2: As a student who wants to promote a new student initiative, I want to be able to create and publish a group for interested people to join my initiative. I would like to do this by clicking on the button to create a group or event, selecting the group option, typing the title of my initiative, and writing a small description, finally, I want to click the submit button and post the initiative. I want to do this so my initiative has a broader coverage and a big impact on other students' lives, so they can create innovative solutions and learn in the process.
FS3: As the marketing manager of the systems department, I want to be able to create and publish a free event for all the students that are interested in see the best projects that were done in the carrer. I would like to do this by clicking on the button to create an event, then writing where the event will occur, when it would start and how long it will be. Finally, I want to click a submit button and post the event. I want to do this in order to share all the students the impact and innovatives solutions that have been made in the systems department by students, in order to to attract them to the faculty.
FS4: As a student who wants to meet new friends to play videogames, I want to be able to create and publish a group for active people that is playing a game called Valorant. I would like to click on a button to create a group, then write a small description of my rank in the game, then typing the requirements like playing al least 2 days in a week and finally, I want to click the submit button to post the group. I want to publish this group in order to make new friends which I can play that are on my same level.
FS5: As a faculty member responsible for organizing departmental workshops, I want to create and manage a series of informative webinars for students interested in the latest developments in computer science. I would like to accomplish this by clicking on the button to create an event, specifying the webinar topics, dates, and guest speakers, and then clicking the submit button to schedule and promote these webinars. My objective is to provide valuable educational content to students and enhance the reputation of the department.
FS6: As a student looking to join a study group for an upcoming exam, I want to be able to search for study groups related to my course. I plan to click on the search bar, type in the course code or title, and browse through the available study groups. After finding a suitable group, I'd like to join it by clicking a "Join Group" button or sending a request to the group admin. This way, I can collaborate with my peers, exchange study materials, and prepare effectively for the exam.
FS7: A university professor wants to create an academic conference event to present a topic he is passionate about. He knows that if he sends an email not many people will notice this. So, he decides to log into Hive to create a user, access the application, complete the form with information related to the event he wants to organize (topic, description, date, time, location), and adds in his filters that any member of the university community can go. The professor uses the application to reach more people in the community and characterize his event through the options generated by the application.
FS8: A university student wants to join a sports group. To do this, he uses the Hive application, explores the sports section, searches for sports of interest such as basketball or volleyball. He selects the group he is interested in where he will see the information about the sporting event, who organized it, when it will take place, if there are quotas to participate. The student uses the application to find groups and extracurricular activities that allow him/her to practice his/her favorite sport and socialize with other students.
FS9: As a university administrator responsible for coordinating campus events, I want to use the Hive application to organize and promote an exchange event. I will log in to the application, click on the "Create Event" button, specify event details such as the date, time, location, and purpose of the event. I will also set registration options. Once the event is created, I can use the application to manage registrations, communicate with participants, and share updates about it, ultimately driving participation and contributions to the cause.
FS10: As a student with a passion for photography, I want to showcase my work and connect with fellow photography enthusiasts. Using the Hive application, I plan to create a photography club by clicking on the "Create Group" button, selecting the club option, providing a name for the club/group, and writing a brief description of its purpose, with a direct link to a WhatsApp or other platform group. My goal is to create a community of photographers, share tips and techniques, and organize photography outings and exhibitions.
FS11: As a student body representative, I want to harness the hive app to facilitate student participation in university events. I will create a dedicated space for our university's event calendar, where students can easily find information about upcoming events, RSVP, and receive notifications. This feature will help boost student engagement, foster a sense of community, and ensure that no one misses out on the exciting events happening on campus.
FS12: As a student affairs coordinator, I want to leverage the Hive app to encourage students to explore the multitude of opportunities our university offers. I'll establish an interactive platform within the app that showcases not only academic events but also extracurricular activities, study abroad programs, and community outreach initiatives. By using features such as event ratings, and the ability to connect with like-minded peers, the app will empower students to explore and engage with the diverse array of experiences available at our university, fostering personal growth and enriching their educational journey.
