Transporter Scanner
Each Transporter Scanner is an anchor for a Kelaptron flux beam in a Transporter Room setup. You need one scanner for each entity during a transfer. If too many entities are in the containment field, random ones will be selected by the Transporter Core when energizing.
Transporter Scanners are placed on the ground within reach of their Transporter Core, with 2 air blocks above them.
Each Transporter Scanner needs to be surrounded by 8 Transporter Containments. When multiple scanners are involved, they can replace the corner containment, in a checker pattern.
When containment is insufficient or area is obstructed, the scanner remains dimmed.
A Transporter Scanner is produced from 1 HV Machine casing, 1 Emerald crystal, 3 Capacitive crystals and 2 Ender crystals.
A Transporter Scanner is only used through its Transporter Core.
There's no wire connection required between Transporter scanners and their Transporter Core.
While a scanner is a (relatively) safe place, your remote location might be inside magma or the enemy reactor chamber.
