I need to simulate an ambulance. How can I change the behavior of a basic agent, adding the ability to go to the oncoming lane and ignore the traffic lights?

Dear Ivan,

How to replace the DriverAgent logic is, in principle, demonstrated in RunAgentSourceExample, see matsim.org/javadoc → main distribution .

However, I have to say that what you have in mind is probably outside the design area of MATSim: MATSim has traffic lights, but no lane changing behavior, and certainly none for going into oncoming traffic.  (I recall that Gregor Lämmel once worked on something like this but I cannot say if it is production-ready.)
