Interface Testing

Sprint 1 Iteration

Front end testing was completed to test functionality of the shop. The below video runs through the process. Note in the building screen stone is not deducted when try to purchase a log as there is not enough stone.

Sprint 2 Iteration

Demoing the shop screen show the buildings, equipment and artefacts. The video illustrates the deactivation of the buy button (turns red) when there is insufficient funds or if the equipment is already in the inventory.

Sprint 4 Iteration

Based on user testing in sprint 4, refinements were made to the functionality of the shop feature, in that the building items were removed and added into a new building popup that houses all building related actions. The resulting shop feature is demonstrated below (note: the cursor in the GIFs is offset due to resolution differences between the screen capture and the game).
