Description of the test

Owing to that the last user testing only provided users with the enemy itself without putting it in the game. This user testing will test the real user interface with starfish in the game. This user testing was designed on a google form and the users are from outside of the studio.

Purpose of the test

The main purpose of this user testing is to ensure that the starfish fits with the whole design of the game. We don't want users to feel this starfish as a weird component of the game. Although we followed the design guideline all the way while creating this character, we still believed that this testing would better validate our design and would prove that this design is fitted with the whole game.

User testing design

The five questions we asked in this user testing are:

  1. Do you like how the starfish moves its body?
  2. Did you notice the change of its eyes colour?
  3. Would you change anything about this character?
  4. Does this starfish fit with other elements in the game?
  5. Any recommendation or questions.
